2014 Model United Nations Project
The Model United Nations projected tested our knowledge about the United Nations and current events. During the project, we completed extensive research on the Israel Palestine conflict. Each student was representing a given country, and writing resolutions to the issue. I was representing a "Chair" or basically a person who runs the conference during the United Nations. I had to complete my own tasks that included reading speeches, completing my own research, and understanding the Parliamentary Procedures that would be included in the conference. At the conference, I was in charge of keeping the delegates in line with what they were supposed to be doing, and running the final voting block, where we voted on one resolution a delegate wrote.
